What is the recruitment process at CHW?
The recruitment process within CHW follows the NSW Ministry of Health recruitment and selection policy and EEO guidelines. Information about these documents can be found at the following links: www.health.nsw.gov.au/nursing/employment/recruit.asp
CHW only recruits through NSW Health: Nursing and Midwifery Office (NaMO), we do not take any first year RN external to this process.
What does the Recruitment process consist of?
The recruitment process consists of a number of components all of which require you to demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria formulated by Nurses and Midwifery Office (NaMO). Review the Essential Information for Applicants & FAQs located on the NaMO website.
Recruitment Components Include:
1. Your application
2. Your CV (maximum of three pages)
3. The Interview
4. Referee reports (2 x relevant clinical references)

The Interview
Interviews are held over a number of days and are planned for 11th, 12h & 13th of August 2014 at CHW
The panel is made up of three members of staff from various nursing back grounds including Nursing Unit Managers, Educators and Clinical Practitioners
On arrival, you are require to register with the coordinator & provide your documentation for review. If you do not provide the appropriate documentation on the day, you will not be legible for an interview and will be removed from the NaMO process.
